Things to keep in Mind
WHAT KIND OF PAINT DO YOU NEED?
You can either paint your office with water-based, Oil-based or acrylic paints. Water and acrylic paints last for up to 5 years while oil-based paints last for up to 10 years. Oil based paints are more expensive but they do give you the highest quality finish.
Permits
When you get the exterior of a retail or office painted, you have to make sure that you have the right permits from the council.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
If you are using water based or acrylic paint then you can stay in the office while it is getting painted. However if you are using oil based paint for your interiors then you should not be back in the office for at least 7 days after the job is finished.
Scaffolding
If the height of the exterior area that you are getting painted is higher than 2.4 metres then make sure that you have scaffolding in place.

How much does office painting cost in Auckland?

Can you paint our office after hours or on weekends?
Yes. We can work outside your normal hours, where that helps, so your staff aren’t disrupted during business hours, and we plan the job around the areas you need kept open.
Will the paint smell keep our team out of the office?
For most interior work we use low-odour water-based paints, so staff can usually keep working nearby or return the same day. Oil-based finishes take longer to clear, and we’ll tell you before we start if a space needs to be left empty.
